Pulling a tooth or molar

If a tooth is severely compromised or damaged, extracting it may be the only remedy. The dentist can perform this treatment himself or, if necessary, refer you to a dental surgeon. Wisdom teeth are often pulled when they are not coming through properly, there is not enough space in the jaw or if they affect other molars.
